What is Hearts for Hope

Thank you to everybody that attended and supported our 2nd Annual Hearts for Hope dinner. We raised just under $40,000, which represented 48% of our goal. Want to help us reach 100%, click the “Donate” button to help us continue serving in Puerto Lempira.

As volunteer directors at the House of Hope, the Hosacks are not paid by Send Hope and are responsible for raising their own operating funds.  Their goal this year is to raise $50,000 to cover food, insurance, travel, and other living expenses.

In addition, with their birth of their daughter, the Hosacks have outgrown their 9'x16' living space.  They have purchased land adjacent to the House of Hope, and hope to build a home there in the next year that is estimated to cost $60,000.  They were able to raise $30,000 towards their house last year, and are looking to raise the other half at this year's dinner.

The dinner is catered by Fed by Faith and the proceeds from Hearts for Hope will support the Hosacks to run the House of Hope for another 12 months, as well as fund a house to raise their growing family.
